Cameron Lewis is a Law Clerk at Koukol Johnson, LLC, where he assists attorneys with legal research, drafting, and case preparation across a variety of practice areas.
Cameron earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he studied History and Political Science. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where he is a Fellow with the Jaharis Health Law Institute, a member of the First-Generation Law Student Organization, and the International Law Society. Prior to law school, Cameron served in several roles with the Nebraska State Legislature, including Committee Clerk for the Business and Labor Committee and Administrative Assistant to State Senator Merv Riepe. Through these positions, he gained experience in legislative research, policy analysis, and governmental affairs.
Cameron’s area of interest includes litigation in healthcare law, business law, administrative law, and public policy. He is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Health law Attorneys Association.
Outside of the office, Cameron enjoys weightlifting, reading, vintage shopping, and following domestic and international political affairs. He is also actively involved with Breakthrough T1D, supporting advocacy and fundraising efforts for Type 1 diabetes research.
